holdon216 Posted October 4, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2012 We have done the Twisster boat there once before and really liked it. But we were thinking of taking the catamaran to Pasion Isla next July. Both are 5 hour excursions. Just wondering if anyone has taken the catamaran and approx how long of a ride was it. Timewise? shipty2 Posted October 6, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 6, 2012 We just did this. The catamaran is not a catamaran. It is a small ferry type boat. The seats are hard plastic and in rows like a bus. The trip takes about an hour and is not unpleasant but was not the type of transportation I was expecting.
CENTEX CRUISER Posted October 6, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 6, 2012 We have done it twice, and it took 40 minutes each time . We actually enjoy the ride and like to sit on top , if you can get a seat.
holdon216 Posted October 7, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted October 7, 2012 Just wondering did you see the pics of the yellow cat posted above? Is that what you were on? Or was it just a regular boat? The pics online for Carnival excursions show a cat. Did you book "on board" and possibly get put on an overflow boat. Thanks

CENTEX CRUISER Posted October 7, 2012 #6 Share Posted October 7, 2012 I believe they call it a catamaran because it has two sponsons like a cat.
