kewbrick Posted October 5, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 5, 2012 My wife and I are taking our first NCL cruise for our 25th anniversary in June. :D We splurged a bit and reserved a Haven Spa suite. My questions are.. 1) If I know a specific night and restaurant can I reserve in advance or is on the ship through the concierge fine? 2) If in advance - how far in advance can this be done? 3) I have a very special bottle of wine I wish to bring - when will I get charged the corking fee? Thanks!

If you book before sailing, you must pay in advance by CC. If you wait until sailing (or use the pre cruise concierge) you can use any on board credit you may have to pay. 2) If in advance - how far in advance can this be done? As a suite guest, I believe you can book 55 days in advance. 3) I have a very special bottle of wine I wish to bring - when will I get charged the corking fee? When you board the ship. Thanks! Enjoy :)

bonvoyagie Posted October 5, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 5, 2012 Congrats on your 25th - we did our first cruise and to Alaska on ours - went back this year for our 35th :) We have never had any problems getting reservations while onboard - and being in a haven you can use the concierge to make even last minute reservations. On some of the ships you can get a free bottle of wine if you book an early (5:00/5:30 dinner). If you are lucky you may not be charged corkage - but you need to let security know as you board. Which ship are you on?
