Portofino availability ?

We are cruising to Bermuda on Oct 21st. I accessed the precruise planner

to make a reservation at Portofino's. According to the site, there is

nothing available on either the first or third night and most of the other nights

are pretty well booked. My question is.... does the ship hold a certain

amount of space for suite and C and A members, or are they really booked

up? I guess I am hoping that after we board, a certain amount of tables

will open up. Anyone have any experience or info on my possibilities?

The ship holds back a certain percentage of space for on board booking. If you board early and go to Portofino as soon as you board, you will have the best chance of getting the reservation you want.

we recently sailed on explorer and booked a time online for Portofinos that was not what we wanted but was all that was available. The day we boarded we went and had the time changed to what we wanted and it was no problem at all.
