rhinomike Posted October 9, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 9, 2012 Any thoughts? We are going to sail at the end of March. We have narrowed it down to the Glory and the Eastern Caribbean or the Valor departing from San Juan, Puerto Rico. It will be me, my wife and 4 boys... Ages 13, 15, 16 and 17. We are not new to cruises. We have done about 15 cruises. Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Norweigan. Alaska and Mexico. But never cruised the Caribbean. We are platinum members with Carnival. We can't decide. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thank you.

rhinomike Posted October 9, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted October 9, 2012 We are leaning towards the Glory because it is a cheaper straight thru flight from LAX. Thinking about a balcony room. Any recommendations or thoughts ?
sharecruises Posted October 9, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 9, 2012 Glory. If you have never been to the Caribbean, Glory will give you the "usual" ports (east or west)...and a lot of fun with the 2.0 Sailing from Florida is less complicated IMHO. I would like to sail the southern some time, but it is very port intensive and more of a cruise for people who have cruised the other ports before and are looking to try new ones. are you planning east or west on Glory? They are both good
