bracho Posted May 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2004 I am trying to put together a budget for our Alaska cruise in 2005. I am having a hard time finding the prices for for things like spa treatments, bingo, etc... does anyone know if there is a price list out here somewhere and if so ... where? We are traveling on the Mercury in June 2005. Thanks
mnwildfan2 Posted May 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Great questions Brancho! I'll be thrilled to see what kind of responses that you get. We haven't been on a cruise yet, but I know from preparing for this cruise that we didn't really realize how much extra we would be spending for things like shore excursions, tips, other onboard services and most of all on CLOTHES! Maybe other people have all the clothes that they need, but we both have jobs that require us to dress extremely casual so we've had to buy everything from casual to formal wear. Make sure you budget for clothes. Have a great cruise. 45014 Posted May 5, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 5, 2004 If you look in the Celebrity brochure it should tell you the price of the spa treatments. In this season's book it is listed on page 9.
CruisingChick Posted May 5, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Bingo has 3 different packages each time you play $10, $20 or $30. Except for the very last one if no one has won the jackpot, it is usually $10 and it's only one game of Bingo. Spa Packages and Treatments range anywhere from $70 to a single thing to packages up in the $400 range. teedee Posted May 5, 2004 #5 Share Posted May 5, 2004 I believe the Celebrity brochure only list the prices for the spa packages. Individual massages or treatments are a little cheaper. I have a list at home from the Century from our cruise last December. I'll look for it when I get home and post the prices. Most individual treatments run from $99 - $175 or so. The one price I do remember is for a "pick and mix" special where you picked 3 items off a list for $70. Bingo was usually $10 a card or 3 cards for $25 (I think, it's close to that anyway). Shore excursions can be pre-booked from Celebrity's web site, or if you don't want to book ahead you can at least find out the prices. Hope this helps! teedee Posted May 5, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Here are the spa prices from the Century. These are about 6 months old so I don't know if they're accurate, but they should be close. Ionithermie Algae Detox 50 minutes $132 La Therapie Facial 50 minutes $109 Aroma Spa Ocean Wrap with Well Being Back Massage 80 minutes $190 Hot Stones Therapy 75 minutes $175 Spa Taster 50 minutes $109 Deep Tissue Massage 50 minutes $116 Well Being Massage 50 minutes $109 Estruscan Chamber Rasul 50 minutes $99 Exotic Hand Ritual and Massage $44 Sole Delight Foot Ritual and Pedicure $61 Frangipani Hair and Scalp Ritual $62 Unlimited Thalassatherapy Pass $60 a 10% service charge is added to all services. Hope this helps with your questions. There are usually specials listed in the daily papers. The T Pool is open until 11:00 nightly and is well worth the price. cruisintwinsmom Posted May 5, 2004 #7 Share Posted May 5, 2004 If I recall correctly the prices of the spa treatments are located on the Celebrity web site. Don't remember which site it is on--maybe faq. Hope you enjoy Alaska. We had a great time and didn't spend too much on extras.
