When we went in March we booked the Eco tour through Seavis. You can look them up on trip advisor. It was a fantastic excursion. We had so much fun, but it does involve some time on the beach. You tour the mangroves, stop at the beach for lunch, then visit a sandbar that is teeming with starfish.

They may offer other excursions besides the Eco tour/beach tour. They were great to deal with. My brother forgot to take cash with him (they ask for payment in cash before the excursion starts). The owner let him take the tour and then afterwards brought him to an ATM to withdraw the cash. It was very nice and accommodating for him to do that for us.

Between the port and Bayahibe there is a cigar factory you can take a tour around

and/or you could try Stand Up Paddle Boarding...

and/or a bit of fishing (they also offer boat trips)

Bayahibe is a quaint fishing village 15 minute drive from port.

Have fun whatever you do!
