Mrs Big W Posted May 23, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 23, 2005 Does anyone know if there is a place/website that compares child services offered by the major lines? I'm wondering which cruiselines: Offer babysitting (group and/or in-cabin)? What the charge is? What hours babysitting is available? What the minimum age is? What activites are offered (again -- for what age groups)? Which cruiselines charge full fares for children? beginning w/ what age? Which charge just port fees? Thanks in advance for any information you could share -- I'm a bit new to the family cruising board and I've learned so much from you all already. cruisinqt Posted May 23, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 23, 2005 When I first started cruising, I had a lot of the same questions you did. I looked everywhere for info. but found that Cruise Critic was really the best source of info. on cruising with children.:) Just go to the top of the page and click on "features." The article I really found helpful was the one called: " Best Family Cruises." It compares a lot of the amenities for children that are offered on each cruise line. If I remember correctly, it even stated the prices for in room babysitting and what hours they were open on each ship. It also talks about minimum age requirements for each cruise lines kids program as well as what activities are offered. I hope this helps. I think the best way to get informed is to just start surfing through Cruise Critic's articles, they are well written and very informative.;)
