NOLA Hotel on the cheap?

leaving out on 11/9/12 from ky to Nola for a carnival cruise on 11/12/12 and was wondering if there were any places to stay reasonably priced close to cruise port for a couple of nights. Thanks for any and all info.

We stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Convention Center. It was very nice and very reasonalbe. It is across the street from the riverwalk shopping area, we walked to the french quarter.

 

If we sail out of NO again, we will definitely be staying there again!
