CrazyCanuckCruzer Posted October 19, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 19, 2012 Recently got upgraded from a balcony to a mini suite on Star sailing from NYC October 21st (only two days!!!). I was looking at the NCL pictures of the mini suite, and there does not seem to be much storage space. Does someone have pics of cabin 11026 or other similar cabins? Thanks for your help! valleyvillage Posted October 19, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 19, 2012 The trick on the Star mini-suite is you have to basically sit on the edge of the bed to open the closet and store things. Also, there is a light switch inside the closet that is not easy to find. Once you turn on the light it's a lot easier!
time2cruise1 Posted October 19, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 19, 2012 You will have far more storage then the balcony cabin. As pointed out the location of the closet is a bit awkward but much larger.

We were in a mini suite on deck 11 in January. Definitely more storage space than in a balcony, and there are storage areas above the closet as well. If you look above the closet you will see one area holds 4 life jackets, another has a low back booster seat, and the other one had a bunch of other stuff :) I'd love to know how your drive to NYC goes from Ottawa! RocklandCruiser Posted October 20, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 20, 2012 Hi, Here are some photos of the various storage areas in Star Mini Suite 11022 which is next door to (and the mirror image of) 11026 where my parents stayed. Both are great cabins - quiet and in a convenient location. Plenty of storage in the closet, above the closet, drawers outside the bathroom, shelf near the door and the area near the TV. Also ample storage in the bathroom above and under the sink. We are booked in Star 11026 for January 2013!

We'll make sure to leave the cabin in good order for you for January! If it isn't, you can blame it on the other cruisers that come in after us!
