I have some very disappointing new - went to dr yesterday and I have pneumonia, not surrprised - it's in both lungs so no cruise for me

 

I just cant risk my health for a cruise

I am so sorry you can't come either, Vicki. Aside from the countdown, I didn't talk too much but seemed to get to know you and everybody else here. Looked forward to seeing you and everybody else. i hope you get well soo and we'll get to see you in the future.:)

Mani pedi and a trip to the magic shop for me today!!:)

I'm heading out there shortly...wanted to get all the packing completed...less chance of messing up the nails...LOL!

What a bummer!! :( Gosh that really is a hard pill to swallow. But at the end of the day you have to do what is best for your health plus those on board. I get sick ALL the time... have a crap immune system and have to load up on a million vitamins before leaving my house. I always worry I will be sick before a cruise and should it ever happen, I'll make the same decision as you for myself and the other passengers. Crossing my fingers and praying for a speedy recovery for you!!

good morning, everyone! ..... we're soooooooooooo excited here !!!

 

we'll be leaving our house in about an hour, driving to the aiport in Baltimore and will land in FLL later this afternoon, shuttle to miami, overnight in miami and then board that beautiful vessel tomorrow !! wooooo hooooo!! it's hard to believe the day is FINALLY here !! yay !! :D

 

soooooo looking forward to meeting everybody and spending more than a week in the caribbean sunshine !!

 

and, thank you again for adopting us and welcoming us into this FUN gruop !! :D

TOMORROW!!!

 

It's finally here!!! Just gotta get through these next 8 hours and then I am free for 12 straight days! Glorious!

 

Safe travels everyone! Linny, I'll text you if our flight is late or delayed. If you don't hear from me, assume all is good and give me a call when you land. We'll look for your flight info when we arrive in FLL and head to your luggage area after we pick up ours.

Sounds like a plan! OMG I am finally truly excited!!!:D:D

It finally hit me today!! That I am going on a cruise in 3 days! lol. I finally feel somewhat excited. Man it's such a great feeling to have the tingly's over what's to come!! Still haven't planned anything yet though!! Eeek!!

It finally hit me today, too! Think I was too stressed with work and getting ready to be excited. I finally got the butterflies around 2 hours ago:p See you on Saturday!

 

We're going up to Jack's Shack in Grand Turk.

La Romana is a speed boat trip to Saona, but it's full.

Curacao, we're just going to wander.

Aruba is a snorkel trip on a pirate ship with Jolly Pirates...they may still have room if you're interested (about 30 of us are going on that one).

Omigod! Thanks Linny for the POM cam link. The Breeze looks Beautiful and that will be our home for 10 days! Love it. Sad to say everybody or relieved to say, that I am on this cruise alone. Again. I am sitting by the pool at the Ramada right now in Hollywood typing this on my Tablet. Monday night, when I got home from work, Lisa asked if I got my hair cut when she knew I did it the week before. I said no but she insisted that I did and I was treating her like an AH. For the next hour and a half, she proceeded to make all kinds of noises to try to disrupt the dvd I was watching. She threw clothes baskets 15 feet across the room, threw my remote against the wall and then went on her Facebook and posted nasty things about me. Then accused me of looking at porn on my computer. Story shortened, she grabbed my shirt and wrestled me to ground. Scratched my face up and BIT me on chest. I have the scars to show for it. Sorry to say that I lost it when she bit me and hit get twice to end the fight. I was so angry at her and myself correct being pushed to the point of hitting her. Something that her last boyfriend did regularly and I swore I would never do. She called police and told me if I ever hit her again, she would kill me and murder my family. Cops heard both sides of the story and arrested her for domestic violence. This is her 3rd arrest for this. Cops told her that when you scratch and bite somebody up as she did, hitting her in defense has to be expected. Still doesn't make feel any better. I went to arraignment to tell judge I didn't want charges against her and I'd be a hostile witness for the State but she still got $5000 bail. I know if I posted $500 bail, she'd get her revenge on me not getting arrested by not going to court and I would be out $5000. So she sits in jail and Landlord says if she shows up at my place, police will be called. So people, I will have a good time but the the time has come for me to try to be strong and stay away from Lisa for good. My Daughter said she is ready to kickme out of her life for good because she doesn't feel safe after Lisas' statement. And I DON'T BLAME HER. So please dont hate me people because I hit Lisa. I hate that it happened myself. Will see ifthis posts. I posted this last night along with a pic of my injuries and lesstahn 5 minutes later, it disappeared. Don't know if I accidentally deleted post before done or if CC deleted the post because of nature of the post. So if Karen has room at her familys' table, I am free. And it looks like I am eating alone at Steakhouse and Cucina again. All is good though. No heavy drama brought on by her on the cruise now.
