Nachi Cocum Beach! Loved It!

IF i could have stayed on this beach for the rest of my trip i would have been in heaven!! it was just beautiful:D

when we arrived we were promptly greeted and a pic with sombrao's (sp) was taken- we did buy the pic but it wasn't very clear and for $12 not really worth it- were were given pink wrist bands

very strong sewer smell when we arrived- but when we got on the beach we couldn't smell it anymore

we were directed to some lounges under individual straw huts- there were several hammocks behind us- the chairs were well spaced out so you weren't on top of other guest

the wait staff was very friendly and prompt- the drinks were too weak to my liking but you could have as many as you wanted

the buffet was delicious- rice, beans, ribs, bq chicken, dips, fish, fresh fruit... and you were welcome to come back for seconds- about 15 minutes before the buffet closed one of the servers came to the beach to let us know in case we wanted more- we were stuffed and satisfied

the pool was warm and clean- great swim up bar- it was great

the water was crystal clear and warm- found lots of great shells- i could have stayed 4-ever

out of a 10 i would give this place an 8! never saw any topless bathers- lots of families! we were informed about the water sports and massages but only told once and not bothered again

we met several kids counselors from the disney magic- they said a lot of the staff go to this beach and love it too!

we paid $32 per person- i think $25 for kids- a deposit was put on our credit card and we paid the rest in cash when we arrived- the taxi cost $15 and we made sure to ask in advance before we got in

looking for a great place to go when in port-----then check this place out

this is the confirmation we received when we inquired:

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a confirmation, it is an availability reply.

We currently show availability for our Cozumel Beach Break Excursion for the date you have requested. This is the perfect way to spend your day in Cozumel, enjoying all the wonderful amenities of this tropical paradise.

So many cruise passengers just want to get away from the throngs of people, and relax on a sandy white beach with crystal clear water. In short, just looking to spend some time in their own little slice of paradise. Our beach club will give you that and more.

Your Beach Break is located along a stretch of Cozumel's most beautiful beach and is open daily from 9am-5pm. The facilities include a spectacular beach, beautiful swimming pool with swim up bar, a spacious Jacuzzi, a beautiful palapa restaurant, comfortable beach chairs, palapas, bathrooms and change rooms equipped with showers. This beach club really does have it all!

Your beach club manager assures that upon your arrival you will be given a warm welcome, information regarding the facilities, and preferential seating on the beach! Take a nice long walk, bask in the sun, swim, snorkel, play volleyball, or just kick back and relax.

Your All Inclusive Beach Break Package includes an open bar with: Pina Coladas, Rum Punch, Margaritas, Sex on the Beach, Daiquiris, Draft Beer, Soda's, Juices, Bottled Water, and other tasty concoctions.

Your buffet lunch is served from 1:30pm-3:30pm and includes: Green salad - Potatoes salad - Guacamole - Tropical fruits- Mexican Style Rice -Mexican Beef Tips - BBQ Ribs - Chicken fajitas - Re-Fried Beans-Bread - Corn tortillas - Salsas - Jalapeños - Chips- Special Mexican Juices and more... When in Rome!!!!

This package is priced incredibly at $32.00 usd adult, $25.00 usd for kids 12yrs -17yrs, and $20.00 usd for children 3-12yrs. Children under 3 are free. Note to parents: the drinking age in Mexico is 18 years.

Our Cozumel Beach Break cannot be booked from your ship. We have selected this club not only for its wonderful atmosphere and services, but because it does not operate directly with cruise ships. This allows you to get away from over organized trips with long lines, packed buses and "cattle" like movements that is so prevalent with other "popular" beach clubs excursions.

The club is located approximately 10 miles from your cruise ship pier and is a short 15 minute taxi ride. Due to port regulations and agreements with taxi unions we cannot provide transportation for you. You can easily arrange a taxi from your terminal for under $15 for up to 4 people. Vans can be arranged for larger groups.

Due to this excursion's popularity, and to ensure your preferential seating (which is limited) please be sure to reserve your space on this excursion ASAP.

Hey! My husband and I are thinking of going to this Nachi Cocum beach when we go in July. But we don't really want to reserve online... We don't drink and we don't care where we sit cause we want to play in the water. Do you think it would be okay for us to just get a cab to take us there and drop us off... I mean would they let us in without a reservation? How much is it to get in? Would we have a hard time getting a cab back to the pier?

I hope you can help! :)

Thanks! ~ Jade

No worries, they won't turn you away! As with most beach clubs it's free to get in, but they obviously would like you to buy food and/or drink while you're there.

There will be cabs waiting for you when ya leave...have a great vacation!

One of the people in our group made the mistake of telling the waiter that he couldn't taste alcohol....oh boy.....the next round knocked most of us on our butt! AND they kept them coming that way (strong!)....we soooo enjoyed our day at NC....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh wish we were back again........*sigh*

Thanks for the great review, I would definitely be interested in checking out this place. Paradise Beach seems to be getting a lot of attention, and therefore too crowded, I prefer a quieter area.
