QCNash09 Posted October 25, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2012 Since Puerto Rico has produced so many famous baseball players is there any sites, museums, sports bars, etc devoted to their baseball greats? Also, the Molina baseball family which is from near San Juan, do they have any gift shops, restaurants? The great catcher Yadier Molina would be the most well known. Thanks guys! Joy2Day Posted October 25, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2012 Yadi! Yadi! Yadi! --- Great question and I await the answer. How many days until pitchers and catchers report to Jupiter? I've seen a posting about the Roberto Clemente statue outside the Roberto Clemente Stadium in Carolina -- about 20 miles from OSJ.
Nole0202 Posted October 26, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2012 there is a winter league, maybe a dozen teams playing from October thru December around the island. AAA or better quality.

Mommy2mo26 Posted November 8, 2012 #6 Share Posted November 8, 2012 Try looking up Puerto Rican Baseball League. They have a web site listing schedules and such. Not as easy to navigate as the other MLB sites, but manageable. Also under that search you should see something on the lines of puertoricodaytrips. You can also use this site to gain info. The Gigantes de Carolina start their season TODAY!!!!!!!!!!:D P.S. GO TRIBE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
