rainbowbeach Posted October 27, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 27, 2012 Awaiting the arrival of Sandy on Long Island and also planning and excited about going on Epic a few days later! Checking to see if anyone knows the interest packages on the Epic? Need to check a few times a day so would probably take the largest amount of minutes offered. Thanks :)
sdmike Posted October 27, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 27, 2012 Information from the NCL website http://www2.ncl.com/about/staying-connected-sea-internet-access In summary? Expensive
Kevnzworld Posted October 28, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 28, 2012 WOW, I have been considering trying the EPIC in 2013. The cheapest Internet package is still 40 cents a minute? Celebrity offers packages as low as 24 cents, and is upgrading all of it's ships to have Internet speeds 7-10 times faster than currently available. willysgrandma Posted October 28, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 28, 2012 It is what it is. And NCLs internet is really slow too. One night it was so slow that everyone in the Internet Cafe was screaming about getting kicked off while were in the middle of doing something. They gave all of us an additional 10 minutes at no charge. WOW, I have been considering trying the EPIC in 2013. The cheapest Internet package is still 40 cents a minute? Just about all cruise lines outsource the internet function to the same carrier. With the current change in technology, most all lines will have the same upgrade starting mid-next year.
