nurseingu Posted October 28, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 28, 2012 Anyone here doing Les Mills Pump or Body Pump at the gym? I ordered the program and want to know what others that have used it think. ... Sent from my SCH-I535 using Xparent Purple Tapatalk
Bellfree Bat Posted October 30, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 30, 2012 I take body Pump at my gym 2-3 times a week. Great workout. Be real careful when first starting lifting and concentrate on form first and foremost. There are a lot of reps in each track so you won't be able to lift as heavy as you would in the weight room. It is more of a muscle endurance rather than strength workout. Good luck with it! ~Ruth
CKDoodle Posted October 30, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2012 I'm on week 5 of Pump and I absolutely love it!! I've done P90X and Turbo Fire, but Pump is a great combo of weights, cardio and fun music. I find that I actually look forward to doing it! My husband and I have a fitness support and motivation group on Facebook if you would like to join. It's a fun group and we motivate each other to get it done! Nurseingu...when do you get it? nurseingu Posted November 1, 2012 Author #6 Share Posted November 1, 2012 Something happened to my post from last night. Posted where you could get Les Mills Pump. Bellfree Bat Posted November 1, 2012 #7 Share Posted November 1, 2012 You can order Les Mills Pump from Beachbody. The same folks as P90x and Turbofire.
nurseingu Posted November 1, 2012 Author #8 Share Posted November 1, 2012 That's what I said in the post from last night and for some reason it's gone...thought because I mentioned the name they considered it advertising or something. Anyway go there and you can get the set.:)

Realblonde474 Posted November 12, 2012 #12 Share Posted November 12, 2012 I took BP for years and recently had to release my gym membership. I just ordered the DVD set you mentioned and I can't wait for it to arrive. I love, love, love BP. Thanks for this! Donna
nurseingu Posted November 13, 2012 Author #13 Share Posted November 13, 2012 You're going to love the beachbody version. I also started BP at the gym. Classes we're too crowded and wanted to do in privacy of home. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Xparent Purple Tapatalk

Anne76 Posted November 27, 2012 #16 Share Posted November 27, 2012 A new challenge for me and my hubby!! We started today and we both loved it! Looking to incorporate some of our p90x favorites in a month or two if we have energy left! :D
Realblonde474 Posted November 27, 2012 #17 Share Posted November 27, 2012 Love the DVD's but I had to reorder the safety clips as they will only hold ONE PLATE on each side. Hopefully BB/Amazon will ship soon without hassle. Has anyone else had this issue? Signed sore and happy... aka Donna
nurseingu Posted November 27, 2012 Author #18 Share Posted November 27, 2012 I had a 2.5 and 10 pound plate on each side and it held. Maybe it's the heavier plates. Will the regular clips that I saw on Amazon fit? Sent from my SCH-I535 using Xparent Purple Tapatalk

pnut362 Posted November 29, 2012 #20 Share Posted November 29, 2012 I had a few setbacks (minor surgery and shingles at the same time) but am finally healing up. Once I am cleared to lift again I was planning on doing another round of PUMP but my Combat will be here by then so I think I may just do it then do another round of PUMP afterwards.. lalacruizin Posted November 29, 2012 #21 Share Posted November 29, 2012 Currently on month two of Les Mills Pump. The only thing I struggle with are the lunges but I think I hurt the bottom of my right foot doing something else. I've had great success in the past 2 months. Loss about 7 lbs. But I'm teaching Turbo Kick too and that's my cardio option.

lalacruizin Posted December 28, 2012 #24 Share Posted December 28, 2012 I will probably stop Les Mills for a few months. Next week I'm starting Insanity and I think I will need all of my energy :)
