I am still not able to buy and apply Funship Dollars !! Is anyone else having problems?? It still won't let me choose a state. I did do some by phone last week..asked for and did not receive an e-mal confirmation,they still are not showing on my docs, but my credit card was charged within 5 minutes!!

Funship dollars applied as OBC generally doesn't show up right away on your docs. Did you write down a confirmation number? I would call them back and ask for another email confirmation.

Did they give you an order # when you called? I would just call back and confirm with them the order and tell them again to send an email confirmation. Sometimes they process it quick and sometimes it seems to take days. I called last week and they were on my account in 3 days but we are sailing in 3 weeks.

 

They've had this issue for awhile now. Obviously they don't care or can't fix it.

I called..got an e-mail confirmation ..it's a spread sheet of somesort & i can't seem to print it. I can print other things..just not the sheet..i don't know a whole lot about computers:(

Sent a reply back asking for the confirmation to be sent in a different way..got it !!! Another great carnival rep!!!

2 weeks ago I tried for days, and had the same problem you did with the inability to pick or enter a state. I finally gave up and called, purchasing the FSD over the phone. I told them about the web site being messed up and she said she would pass it along to the appropriate people -- it's obviously not fixed!

 

That said -- the Carnival website is ALWAYS a pain in the behind - one of the least user-friendly sites I have ever used! When are they going to get their act together?:confused:

I recently had the same problem. I had purchased funship dollars over the phone but after 12 days it still hadn't shown up on my booking. I called Carnival and they said the rep that I had originally spoken to didn't fill out the online form.

I called on 10/24 to add $$ to my OBC, the money was taken out of my checking account within five minutes, I received an Excel spreadsheet confirmation 10 minutes later and just this morning see the OBC listed on page two of my "Print General Information" documents, under the Cruise Itemized Charges section.

I tried to buy them over the weekend and I tried four different browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome) cause occasionally I'd have issues with them not using standards-compliant Javascript so it only worked on some browsers. Turning my JavaScript debugger on, it looks like they are missing a needed file to populate the state or are pointing to the wrong location.
