MichelleChell Posted October 30, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2012 When reviews are started and never finished. I was following 3 Magic reviews that have died. Yes I know people have lives and things happen but please if you are going to do a review finish it. That was my rant for the day. Thank you. There were a few for the Liberty that I was following that started off...Just got back...will be doing my review shortly...any questions, ask away... then nothing. That's why I do my reviews the way I do. They might not be 80 odd pages long and full of pictures, but I give you a, b and c. ;)
Gailerina Posted October 30, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2012 I'm actually writing a review for my next cruise and plan to do it all in one sitting just so if I get busy at least all the details are there, even if no pictures are.
molme Posted October 30, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 30, 2012 I feel the same way. Have been following three reviews on the Dream that seem to have fallen of the face of the planet. The member takes them to about the forth or fifth day and then stop writing. Wish they would come back and finish.

MichelleChell Posted October 30, 2012 Author #6 Share Posted October 30, 2012 I have tried bumping them and replying but it doesn't really help. lol I actually was getting some good info for my cruise from them that I didn't know. I hope they get finished but one can dream.
EnTnSA Posted October 30, 2012 #7 Share Posted October 30, 2012 I agree! I will be writing my 10-21-2012 Magic review soon. Need to get my pictures up in photobucket and some time to get it all out in one go.
ItsAllAboutTheSass Posted October 30, 2012 #8 Share Posted October 30, 2012 I hate when I am following a "Live From" review and I get sidetracked for a day or 2 and come back to the review and there are like 25 new pages.
SmileEh Posted October 30, 2012 #9 Share Posted October 30, 2012 I totally agree... I don't understand why the review can't be typed up and saved on say Microsoft Word and then copy/paste onto here... you can then attach the pic's as you are pasting portions... hence, all review uploaded in one shot! cruzeluver Posted October 30, 2012 #10 Share Posted October 30, 2012 It may help if folks would keep them more to the point. I give up if ten pages in and we are just boarding the airplane for Florida.
mickide Posted October 30, 2012 #11 Share Posted October 30, 2012 I literally just got done deleting my subscriptions for a few reviews that died off. But I don't sweat the small stuff, there will be another :). Have a great day everyone!

There are some really good short reviews in the Member Reviews section.
dwaterhouse Posted October 30, 2012 #13 Share Posted October 30, 2012 ITA But what I hate even more is.... Getting so close to having chocolate melting cake on my 1st nite of a cruise, then being told to get off the ship (lol)... That sucks!

hmm33502 Posted October 30, 2012 #16 Share Posted October 30, 2012 I agree! I will be writing my 10-21-2012 Magic review soon. Need to get my pictures up in photobucket and some time to get it all out in one go. Can't wait to read it! I was reading the same reviews. They were pretty long, but informative. I'm going on the Magic Nov 11th and will write a brief but STELLAR review. I want to post a review from the point of an adult w/o family (2 single 20's and 30's). I think the excursions will be different and the point of view is different. We're snorkeling with sharks, kayaking, exploring bat caves and snorkeling over blue holes. Keep the reviews coming!!! Vitality08 Posted October 30, 2012 #17 Share Posted October 30, 2012 The reviews I enjoy the best are the ones when people, evidently, type it out ahead of time and then post them all at once so the review is done within a few posts with minimal interuptions. Seems like a good place to put my review... So we were on the Magic last week. Was quite a trip. I have pictures and video to share and will add in the next couple hours. Embarkation was fine. No issues there. When we got on the ship we were really happy to see

I also get really bored with 10+ pages of food pictures. And the ABSOLUTE WORST is when the "I can't wait to hear more" posts quote the OP and including all the pictures so that you have to scroll through them more than once. jbhudson Posted October 30, 2012 #20 Share Posted October 30, 2012 Just so you know......things HAPPEN!!! My friend, who has been posting her review on the Magic (I think her username is Meyer3), her 14 year old son was just diagnosed with Leukemia and has immediately begun chemo. She definitely has more important things to do than finish her review right now.

Please send her my regards. We all have fun in our fantasy vacation worlds, but real life definately comes first. Reminds us that these vacations are so absolutely precious and to cherish every moment we get to spend with our loved ones. Man, Im sick thinking about it. I hope everything turns out ok. fergusonvt Posted October 30, 2012 #24 Share Posted October 30, 2012 I agree, but in all fairness it is not nearly as much fun once your cruise is gone by and the longer they wait after they start the review to add to it the bigger chance it won't get finished. That is why I do a one page review. This next cruise I may try something different. Sent from my LePanII using Tapatalk
