Civil War Museum Question

We are leaving at the end of next week for NO. We will have 2 day's pre cruise and I've been searching the boards for info. Love these boards!

 

DH is into Civil war stuff and I found this museum in NO. Does anyone have any info on it? We are staying at the Drury - no car if that matters, but I know there's a streetcar nearby.

It's only about a six-block walk from Drury.

I've never been, but friends say it is on the small side, but very interesting.

 

As the Sgt. points out, the WWII museum is across the street, and next door to the Civil War Museum is the Ogden Museum Of Souther Art.
