my "cruise rate " on carnival site is $1,926.00 gov fees are $376.08

 

looking on fare viewer on carnival for my cat _ 6d_ is

"Total Cabin Amount Cruise only $1886.00

 

am i right to say its a price drop

From those figures looks like a price drop. Call whomever you booked with and ask for the adjustment.

As long as you booked Early Saver, then fill out this form (or have your TA if that's how you booked) http://www.carnival.com/BonVoyage/requestforms/cclearlysaverform.aspx and you should get it~

If you booked another rate~ call in to Carnival or your TA and have them adjust the price.

Fare viewer does not show taxes and fees. So not sure if you meant you paid $1976 plus $376 or you paid $1976 total. The $1886 on Fare Viewer is without taxes and fees.

Just saved 40.78 ... per pvp at carnival emailed in the E/S form .. pays to look at the rates EVERYDAY... thanks for the help!!!

Sometimes even twice a day.... saw a 40.00 savings on our April cruise, submitted the forms, and before I got the confirmation saw another drop, so now its a 50.00 savings for us... Keep checking, and check often.

Best advice if you are looking to save is to check on a regular basis...

 

Sunday I got $20 added to my OBC. Monday I saw another $60. drop. This after my $60 OBC request actually was posted as $76 and was added to my OBC... so, a total of $96.00 in only 5 days! It all adds up as I am sitting with $235.16 OBC since final payment for my no thrills Balcony cabin. Love it!
