When you call Carnival and find one you like get their extension. Sometimes they see you searching for a cruise and one will call you.

Trial and error~ or sometimes you just get lucky~ I had once assigned to me that was horrible yet the one assigned to my DH is AMAZING and we are still using her~!

I had one that called me several times over about a year, I finally called him and booked with him. He was pretty much useless so I didn't use him again. Now I just book through whoever answers the phone

No you're not. If you have a good one then definitely use them. If I find one I might to. Just haven't found one yet that stands out

It's unfortunately trial and error. There is no master list and they change frequently. Usually after you've registered on Carnival.com and played around with their booking engine, you'll be assigned a PVP who will call you (sometimes to excess). Try that person. If you don't like them after that cruise, try someone else. It's very hit or miss.

It seems lime whenever I call. I know more about the cruise line than the people who are working for it....that's not a good sign
