I stayed in a 'H' cat obstructed view cabin on the Oosterdam.

IMO, there WAS a view, altho you had to be standing.

Sitting down ... bed, chair, sofa, etc.. you'll be looking at the lifeboat. But that's compensated by the floor-to-ceiling window. Plenty of light!

 

So technically, you can still see the ocean.

I liked that cabin. Just might book the same category next time.

 

You won't be disappointed.

Thanks. It's not like I sit there all day, but I enjoy the light coming in and reminding me what time of day it is as opposed to an inside.
