Nice to Monaco

After you tender, you'll want to cross the street and head up and to the left (away from the curve of restaurants along the shore). There will be signs directing you to the bus stop, so just follow the signs. I think you either go up a hill or steps, but it's not too bad. It's about a 10 minute walk. The bus to Monaco (100 Eastbound "Menton") picks you up on the water side of the street. The stop on the other side of the street with the buildings is the Westbound bus. Sorry I don't have more specific, detailed directions, but it's not that difficult to find your way.

Just back from Nice - post river cruise. They are doing massive construction in the area of the old bus station (building is gone!). The buses now begin/end on the streets. We stopped at the Tourist information center and got specific directions - but we were in Nice for 4 days. I understand you'll be under a time constraint - I'd suggest e-mailing the Tourist center close to when you leave since there may be changes between now and then.

When we were the (Oct. 31st to Nov. 3rd) the buses were between Boulevard Jean Janures and Avenue Felix Faure. Bus 100 on Rue Alberti. Bus 400 to St. Pail de Vence was one block east at Rue Gubernatis. But the whole situation looked like it was very changeable so checking would be the best! I'm not sure where you'd tender to - we went to Nice from VilleFrance - but there is a tourist office on the Promenafe Des Anglais about Rue Massenet - about a block from the casino.

The bus ride was a great part of the experience - almost like a roller coaster ride with fabulous views!

Have a GREAT time!
