Balcony dividers

Can Aft Balcony dividers be opened or removed. We have 2 neighboring cabins on an aft balcony and was wondering if we can open the divider so the family has one IG balcony.

Most can, but it depends on the ship and what cabins. Some of the Aft dividers are solid metal and have no door.

It depends on the ship and cabin numbers.

I believe that the Spirit Class ships do not have connecting aft facing balconies but the other classes do.

We have done it on the Liberty and the Splendor, but were not able to do it on the Miracle. We tried to talk them in to letting us open our 4 cabins in a row, but they said they never let the aft dividers open.

So, depends on the ship.

What ship?

 

Although the Spirit class does have partitions, they swing in and cannot connect to anything. We had no problem anchoring them to a stack of lounge chairs, but it seems they are no longer willing to do this.
