spazwok Posted November 21, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 21, 2012 Has anyone used zippy shuttle recently? I've been looking at reviews but most of them seem pretty old. I have a few trips I want to make with them, one from Hollywood to Anaheim, then Anaheim to San Pedro for a cruise and then from San Pedro after the cruise to the Hilton at LAX. So would love to hear other people's opinions on them? If not them, is there another company that could make these trips for us? We prefer private, not shared. kenish Posted November 21, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 21, 2012 Hi- I don't have any experience with Zippy. Execucar is another private shuttle who gets good reviews here on CC so you might compare their rates. Have you considered renting a car? The LA traffic and freeways are exaggerated in movies and TV. As long as you avoid AM/PM rush hours and look at real-time traffic conditions before you leave, it will be fast and easy. You will also have more mobility at a cheaper price. LA is the world's first city that grew around the automobile. The result is a geographically vast, sprawling city and you're at a serious disadvantage without a car. As FYI, I rented a car in Melbourne and found the roads to be very similar to LA. Hope this helps.
spazwok Posted November 22, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted November 22, 2012 Thanks so much for the feedback. We are hiring a car for a little while, but don't think we'll need it when we're in Anaheim as we're mainly just there for Disneyland.
Splinter Posted November 22, 2012 #4 Share Posted November 22, 2012 Execucar is the private hire shuttle service owned by Supershuttle. They use vans, cars and limos, depending on the group. It is not the same as a rental car.
