Cruising89143 Posted November 24, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 24, 2012 First time at St. Kitts. Not sure what will be around the port for shopping and grabbing a bite to eat. Anyone have any suggestions for lunch near the ships?
paul58 Posted November 24, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 24, 2012 A short walk into Basseterre will take you to the Circus. There are several good places to eat that are nearby. They are : Ballahoo Restaurant & Circus Grill. You could take a taxi to several places that you may not want to walk to such as: Serendipity or Nirvana. A local place like El Fredo's is good also. TomDills Posted December 6, 2012 #5 Share Posted December 6, 2012 We had an excellent lunch at Serendipity Restaurant. It's certainly walkable... We took a taxi there and walked back to the ship. On the pricey side but we felt it was worth it. Great view, too! Serendipity Restaurant

Anyone have any suggestions for lunch near the ships? Palms Court Garden is another option. Ten minutes walk from the port with lunch by the pool overlooking some great views of Basseterre. You can use the pool for a small fee.

skiiergirl Posted December 22, 2012 #8 Share Posted December 22, 2012 We ended up doing Sunset Beach Bar because it was near the golf course and we ate while the golfers finished playing. It had sandwiches as well as local food. Very good but not necessarily outstanding. Reasonable but not cheap. Would definitely go there again but would not consider it a must.
