alleghator Posted May 28, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 28, 2005 Haven't heard about Uxmal in awhile. Anyone visit there? What do you think? --Heidi
hdawson Posted May 28, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 28, 2005 Heidi. I think that is quite a stretch on a port call. About 115 km or 70 miles. I hope to visit Uxmal during my two week visit to Merida, Ticul and Campeche in Oct.
alleghator Posted May 28, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted May 28, 2005 Carnival has an Uxmal tour. I know it's a bit of a drive, but it's supposed to be a wonderful location. Less crowded than Chichen Itza and equally as impressive. I used to hear about Uxmal on this board quite a bit, but not for a couple of months. --Heidi
terryde Posted May 31, 2005 #4 Share Posted May 31, 2005 We were just in Progreso/Merida May 26 - some of our friends went to Uxmal on the ship tour and loved it - said it was a bit rushed to see everything. They said there was a great museum but they didn't have time to see it.
