We were in 14500 on the Star and it's fantastic. Here are some pics for you. I have a some more pics on my ipad. If I can figure out how to access them I'll post them later. :o I have a link in my signature line that goes to webshots that has pics of the Star, but I'm not sure if it works anymore.

FYI.... The windows that overlook the pool do have a reflective film on them, but if you are standing close (within a couple of feet) people below CAN SEE YOU. And don't forget about the limo ride from the port to the airport. :D

Wow! Your pictures are fantastic :) I couldn't get right into the service, but the thumbnails all showed up, so was able to see them that way. I will warn everyone about the windows. I imagine at night it's really clear, so we will be careful!

We'll be arriving in Miami and all of us will fly home that day, so the limo will be great. I don't want to talk about the limo though, don't want to think about the end of the cruise at all ;). I was a mess for days after the Epic one, I can just imagine the level of post cruise depression I will be suffering after this one!

If you're able to access more pics that would be fantastic, if not don't worry :)

Just noticed you are going on the Jewel soon, DH and I are boarding her this Sunday. Too bad you are not going at the same time. Would have loved to meet you and the Eric(k)'s.:D

Lita

Yes, too bad the timing didn't work out! Your mention of the Eric(k)s through me for a loop because I always write it that way, but didn't think I'd ever done it on here. Maybe we just think alike!

Enjoy your cruise and please come back and let us know how it is. Have a great time, but leave her in decent shape for us!

Thats a great villa, and the bar got well used.

I think it will get a good workout again :) Bloody Marys (unless we can bring on Clamato somehow for Caesars) and Mimosas for breakfast, wine for Elevensies and lunch, cocktails in the afternoon, and Baileys on ice for a nightcap. Add a few buckets of beer to the fridge and I'm pretty sure we'll be set.

We're traveling through Casinos at Sea, so our drinks will be covered in the casino as well. We'll do well to have a sober moment or two in the day!

At least we're not loud or obnoxious drunks, we shouldn't be too annoying for our GV neighbors.

12 days with one day at port I still can't believe it.

There are some great deals on other cabins too, all of you kind people should join in on the fun :)

Your butler will get you all the soda's, mixers, ice, fruits and if they can a blender ( we bring a magic bullet blender ) and last you get 6 bottles of alcohol free with the GV, your choice.

Ha! Ha! You know what they say about great minds!:D.

We expect to have a wonderful time next week. We will make sure that Hugo and his team gets the ship back in shape for you guys.

When we get to Port Canaveral, we are meeting up with one of our friends that we met on the Dawn's 10/10/10 repositioning cruise. We have not seen each other since but we have kept in touch through phone calls, emails, Facebook and text. We are finally catching up, a few of us from that sailing have been trying to sync our cruise calendar for awhile. Hopefully, we can do it next year.:)

That sounds fantastic! Funny, I tried to convince the Nashville boys to fly to Bahamas for the day we're there! I hope you are able to sync as well, it's amazing that we're able to step on board a ship strangers, and leave almost family. :)
