Frankie Sue Posted November 28, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2012 Could you please tell me which category of window cabin you would choose on the Eurodam and which cabin within your preferred category would you recommand? Thanks,
Boytjie Posted November 28, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 28, 2012 That is such an open question since people book cabins for such different reasons. Some book to be low and in the middle of the ship; some to be close to the dining room; some to be close the elevators. If you give more information on why you are asking it you may get better information back.
Frankie Sue Posted November 28, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted November 28, 2012 I am not really fussy about where the cabin is located. We have always cruised in cabins with balcony or suites and are now looking to save a little money. If I have a specific requirement it would be a cabin a littlebit larger than others or closer to the outside deck. I hope this will help. USS Bounty Posted November 29, 2012 #5 Share Posted November 29, 2012 Just finished a cruise on the Eurodam, we had VA6177 which is an aft facing balcony. The cabin was great and the sunrises and sunsets were awesome.
lvz2cruz Posted November 29, 2012 #6 Share Posted November 29, 2012 We have had an outside cabin near the rear elevators and liked that location. It was very convenient to the main dining room, Lido, and aft pool. We had a balcony near the front on deck 4 and heard the show noise so I would stay away from forward cabins on the main deck. You might hear noise when the ship stops in port and drops anchor from the rear cabins though.
ellieanne Posted November 29, 2012 #7 Share Posted November 29, 2012 In general, my preferred cabin categories are F and FF. I like being low down, and truthfully, I like being forward. I never spend much time on a balcony, so the extra expense is just wasted for me. On the Eurodam, if possible, I book Cabins 1001 or 1002. They are slightly larger than other F cabins, and I like the bit of extra room. I also love that they have showers rather than tubs. I live to soak in a nice tub, but I do not find cruise ship tubs are nice for soaking, and the sides are so high it is very difficult to get in and out of them. Frankie Sue Posted November 29, 2012 Author #8 Share Posted November 29, 2012 Thanks very much. There are 2F category cabin on the upper veranda deck, right at the front. Anyone knows anything about these?
Typhoon1 Posted November 29, 2012 #9 Share Posted November 29, 2012 Very subjective. However, we prefer a mid ship V.
InTheWASide Posted November 29, 2012 #10 Share Posted November 29, 2012 Could you please tell me which category of window cabin you would choose on the Eurodam and which cabin within your preferred category would you recommand? Thanks, Category CA are the largest and have the biggest windows with what I consider to be one of the best views. The "spa amenities" aren't really worth much, but the added space is worth it
