We have done lots of b2b cruises on RCL and NCL. We are doing our first Carnival b2b next April, a 24 day Hawaii cruise. So I can't exactly tell you how Carnival handles b2b's but I can share what we have experienced on other cruiselines:

No discount on cruise price

Have received really good upgrades

Have been put on VIP lists frequently (great perk)

Turnaround day procedures have never been the same

Back to backs are wonderful, especially when you see everyones bags in the hallway and you still have another cruise left!

My experiences with B2B on CCL have been very similar to what 'sally r' experienced on other cruise lines.

Enjoy the extended journey!
