Whose done ziplining?

Looking into doing ziplining in one of our ports (specifically either Barbados or St Kitts). Im wondering what do we do with our belongings while we are ziplining? Meaning purse, etc. Or should we just take something that could be strapped to us so nothing would get lost. Not planning on carrying tons but would obviously need our identifications, some money, a camera, etc. If anyone could share from experience that would be great!

DH always wears a fanny pack, straps around your waist, holds his wallet with both our IDs and whatever else we need. Smokes, lighter, gum, comb, camera, kleenex etc. I dont have to carry anything, sometimes I find myself freaking out looking for my purse I didn't bring.

On excursions I usually wear cargo shorts and everything you mentioned would fit in ones pockets.

The hazard of wearing a fanny pack is, if you're in an area with much pickpocket activity, you become a prime target. Those are so easy to steal!

Cargo pockets are the only way to do it. The last time I went Fanny packs were not allowed with the harness type. You just have to pack light when you go.

I am not sure about the ports you mentioned, but we stashed our stuff on the tour bus which was locked. They may have lockers available.

Those who wear cargo shorts- arent you worried about your things falling out of pockets while on the zipline?

I had a light-weight backpack on my back holding my few things. It wasn't a problem. Plus my camera handy in a pocket.

 

The guides on the zipline keep an eye on everything and are very careful.

 

My dh and I have zip lined twice and had no bad experiences at all.
