Cave Tubing and anything else?

We just returned from cruise during week of Thanksgiving. We had group ranging in ages from 15-74 years.

We did the cave tubing through VIV and had a great time. Our group had done tour to Dzibanche Ruins on Costa Maya, and ziplining/iguana farm/beach break on Roatan.

While I would have bet money that the ruins tour would have tired our group out, it was the cave tubing that had many in our group sleeping in the van on the way back to the ship. The 15, 18, 20, 24 year olds in our group were the first to fall asleep. Perhaps it was the easy ride home.

I can't offer suggestions on other things to do on Belize that is excursion related. VIV tours does do a zip line cave tour combo, but it looked like you are already booked with another company. There are lots of shops at the cruise terminal, including a chocolate shop and several beach bars.

For Belize, we got off the tender at 9:30 a.m.. The waiver signing and van loading took us about 30 minutes, so we were on the road by 10:00.

We arrived back at the cruise terminal at about 3:00 p.m.. Some in our group tendered back right away, others didn't tender back to ship until about 5:00 p.m..

Our group walked to the launch point VERY slowly. There were lots of other groups that passed us on the trail. So our total excursion time took longer because the apx 25 minute walk took us 40 minutes. After the excursion we did browse the vendors, and took at least an hour before we loaded back into the van.
