miami airport 11:30

has anyone come back recently on the Explorer and made an 11:30 flight?

Last time we were in miami, the line was 3 hours long but we lucked out with a porter at the airport but it probably won't happen next time. The next

flight is 1:30 and that seems so late.

If you really really try and get off the ship first...maybe. But I really wouldn't risk it. 1:30 is only two hours later, so I would go for 1:30.

 

What airline are you flying? Southwest is always very accommodating and will put you on an earlier flight if there is room - usually for no charge (except if you're flying with Rapid Rewards points).

I wouldn't trust Miami airport to make that flight. When I flew in for a cruise, the incoming security screening line was wrapped all over the airport. On the way out, nothing. So I waited for 3 hours but at least it wasn't in line. Enjoy your cruise.

I myself would not chance a flight before noon. The 1:30 flight is not that late and to me it would be nice not to have worry about making a flight.

thanks, that is what i was thinking. we willeither take the 1:30 flight

or go to fll but that can be a hassle.
