Cruise fun facts...does anyone else do this

I will research the areas that we are going on for the ports of call. then as the days approach for the cruise-i send email each day with a fun fact to all who are going on the cruise. I start sending a fun fact out when there are100 days until the cruise.

A few years ago a cruiser set out about 10 questions at Roll Call, about Hawaii, offering a small prize for the winner at our CC meeting. It was simple for me to get the answers from the 'net, and claim the prize.

I just started something like this today on my roll call. I've taken each part of the cruise and found a video of the day to post. Along with the video, I post facts about either the port or the part of the ocean we are visiting. Today I posted facts about "vacation" and a video from Madonna, "Holiday".

 

Tomorrow I'll post about the history of cruising, and the following day I'll cover facts about New Orleans.
