Port Canaveral

We are flying into Orlando a day early this time. Does anyone have any advice on where to stay close to the cruise terminal? Do any places offer a shuttle to the terminal? Also, can you book a one-way transfer back to the airport after the cruise?

One last question, is Sanford more difficult to fly into than MCO? We can fly into either airport, but one is a little cheaper.

Since your coming a day early you don't say how you plan to get Cocoa Beach (location of closest hotels) . Why not rent a car at Sanford or MCO and drive Cocoa Beach . The next morning return the car (make sure they have a Port Canaveral Port shuttle , some don't) to the rental company in Cocoa Beach and use their free shuttle

Some hotels charge for their shuttle to PC.

Sanford is much easier to fly into and out of because it is not crowded. I recently picked my son up from there and we were out in no time even though he had checked luggage. His return flight was a breeze too because the security lines were very short.

Traffic into and out of the airport is much lighter than MCO too.

I'm not familiar with transportation there but here are links from the airport website for:

Rental Cars

Taxi / Limo / Shuttle Companies
