Based on a friend's recommendation - just double checking

We have always used one of the three Marriotts, Canal St, JW and Convention Center. All have been good. Canal St has the most crowds and noise, not a problem, but busy all the time. JW is pretty upscale and you won't get the deals you get with the other two. Convention Center is smaller and lots quieter, but a walk of several blocks to the "action".

For the first time we tried Doubletree this year and it was great. All of them would work for us so it just comes down to the the best price each trip.
