Nightclub or dancefloor on the Reflection?

I and my partner are going to try Celebrity for the first time, since we've heard so many good things about this cruise line.

We have now booked two cruises for next year with Celebrity, both happend to be on the newest ship, Celebrity Reflection.

I just recently found out that the Quasar nightclub doesn't exist on the Reflection. which is a bit worrying, since we love to dance and enjoy the nightlife onboard.

So my question is, does anyone know if there is any dancefloor or. Nightclub at all on this ship, playing the latest hits? or will we just have to find other things to do. :)

Thanks for any advice.

Quasar was rarely busy on the other S-Class ships, so they did away with that venue. Likely there will be dancing at nighttime at the Sky Observation Lounge (might go by a different name on Reflection - but the large lounge forward on a high deck) - not sure what type of music it will be though. The martini bar has the most modern music, but no dance floor. Generally the martini bar has the most late night action. In general Celebrity has less nightlife than most other mass market lines, but some spots stay active past midnight. The Molecular Bar is another spot worth checking out (really creative cocktails, but again no dancing). The bar up by the lawn club sometime attracts a later crowd and the casino generally has nightlife.

Just off the 12/15 Reflection cruise. Every night starting around 11:30p there was a DJ in the Sky lounge playing music, some dance music and a bit of everything else. From what I heard it did last until 3:00a or 4:00a a couple of nights.

We have only tried Solstice. Unlike on the C- and M-class ships, there is not Rendez-vous Lounge, where a small dance floor was available, in addition to the forward upper deck disco which has been mentioned. This is a real lounge area, with a bar, and table seating.

There was a Quasar disco, but no one ever seemed to be in there for anything other than checking out the decor...certainly not for dancing.

But, as noted, near the Martini Bar on deck 3 (?) at the bottom of the stairway!!!! is an area which leads into the Martini Bar and another one..the Passport Bar ? .... there can be dancing. Not a great venue in comparison to the Rendez-vous Lounges on the C-and M-class ships. So you can dance there, but it is a spot that you are like fish in a bowl, on display for the curious who stand around and watch you! If you don't give a damn, you might go for it. We danced there, but didn't like it at all. However, if you want to dance, you must go where the stuff is, so that's what we did on a couple of occasions.

Also, in the Rendez-vous Lounges, we went there nightly, got a table and had some drinks and danced before dinner. On Solstice, we could not do that, so Celebrity must have decided that they did not need the drinks revenue on the new ships. (The same is true for the theatre. On the other ships, there were small tables with banquette type seating and we bought a few drinks each, every time we went. With theatre type seating on the Solstice, there is no way that one can buy a few drinks, put them on the little table an enjoy the show.

and putting even one glass of bubbly into the holder designed for a beer can is stupid. We also don't spend any money in the Solstice theatre, either.)
