Planning excursions is a challenge. So much to see! We will likely plan organized excursions for Florence/Pisa, Rome and Naples. The other ports seem to be easier to have less formal plans. We managed to coax a friend in to coming with us. Depending upon what we schedule, there may be room for others. Will probably post to the 11/13/13 Roll Call. BTW Peter & Paul here

Excursions can be a challenge. Do no let it become overwhelming, figure out what is on the top of your must see list and book the excursion. Keep in mind you can always come back at some point. This will be our third time in Rome, Florence, Pisa, and Naples, even without cruising. You will love the cruise aspect, we do.

Great you were able to find someone to join you, always makes for a great time with friends.

Reminder for everyone to join the Celebrity Equinox Roll Call for the 11/13/13 sailing. There is much to read there.......

We have excursions arranged for Florence/Pisa & Rome through EasyItalytours and to see Pompeii with another outfit. The Celebrity excursions seemed to be more expensive than private tour companies. In all the other ports we're going to wing it since there appears to be a lot to do around the ports
