If anyone is interested, I came across this video on YouTube of Indy's Transatlantic crossing...someone uploaded a few of the Captain's announcements and I thought it was neat.

 

 

 

Thank you very much; we know Captain Remo personally and it was nice to hear his voice again!!!

I got off the ship prior to this Transatlantic sailing. We missed our final port of call at La Coruna to stay ahead of this weather front and the ship was slightly rolling on our way back to Southampton with the water in the pool splashing abit but certainly nowhere as bad as in the film.

 

The ship obviously headed back south to Lisbon from Southampton to do the Transatlantic and straight to that weather front we missed earlier.

 

Loved Capt Remo giving out his information at noon every day.

You're very welcome, Happy New Year to you as well! I'll be sailing on the Indy at the end of Feb, any idea if he will still be onboard?

 

Sorry, but he won't be there! He's going home now, and he will be back some time in March! But, never know: schedules can change!!

Derek's video is great, brings back memories. The weather did perk up when we left Ponta Delgarda.

 

Derek has also posted another time-lapse video of the ports which are great.
