stromer Posted June 1, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 1, 2005 I got upgraded to a cat D cabin recently for the Sun Princess. Looking at the floor plan and ship photos, it looks like the window is very large - about 5' x 5' size. The size of the cabin varies, but might be larger than a standard inside or lower catagory outside (which have windows less than half the size of this cabin). Can anyone verify the size - is it larger than a std inside/outside? How much smaller is it than the cat DD delux cabin? Is the bed end just under the window or is the bed perpendicular to the window? We would like to sit by the window - is it possible to rotate the bed 90 degrees if the bed end is against the wall? Thank you, Rick
Toto2Kansas Posted June 1, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 1, 2005 I can't comment for sure on the window size but did look up the sq. footage that it is showing for you. But I will say that I have never seen a 5 X 5 foot window in an outside cabin on a Sun Class ship before. The Category D is approx. 155 sq ft. The Category DD is approx. 173 sq ft.
