Renting a recliner

We have booked a handicapped balcony cabin on the Star Princess. We are renting a wheelchair, but my mother always uses a recliner for sleeping. Will there be room in the cabin for a recliner?

Are you bringing your own recliner or have you found a rental one? I don't know if you can rent them. If yes, then one of the twin beds can be removed and stored and the recliner placed in the room. You would have to coordinate this with the "special needs" desk at Princess. So first I would find a vendor and second I would work with Princess.

I have seen that Carevacations rents recliners for cruises. Will follow your advice and have TA check with the "special needs" desk at Princess about the possibility of removing one of the beds. Thanks.

It would probably be best if you talked with the special needs department yourself. TAs do a wonderful job, but may not know enough about your particular need to ask or explain things to the special needs people.
