Ramada Plaza Beach Resort, FLL

Need some advice. Has anyone stayed at or can tell me about the Ramada Plaza Beach Resort on Galt Ocean Drive, FLL? I'm looking to stay there one night pre-cruise. Thanks!

I've stayed there several times, but it was always using Ramada Club points, so I never paid a penny, except the very reasonable $6/day to park and the $1 they assess for the safe in the room.

 

The pool deck and access to the ocean are very nice. Not much of a lobby, but a swinging niteclub just off the lobby which attracts the over 40 crowd.

 

Have never eaten there. Rooms are just what you'd expect from a Ramada. They'll do fine for one night. Be glad to answer any more specific questions.
