First stay in Miami

Hi, we are staying for first time in Miami (Essex House Hotel on South Beach) prior to sailing on Equinox on 15th March. Technically we have a full day on the Thursday and Thursday night, leaving for the cruise on the Friday morning. Need your advice on what to do/see in Miami for the day and any recommendations for a nice restaurant on Thursday night or do we go "native" and have a nice burger somewhere. Ideas please!!!

Hi,

The red tour Hop on Hop off bus is a great way

to see Miami it leaves from South Beach and is about $25pp

The Equinox leaves from Ft Lauderdale, a taxi will ost about $60 from

Miami, you may want to check out what a shuttle will cost,

Or hire a car for the day from Hertz (they have a Downtown location)

And drop of at ft Lauderdale which will cost you about £30
