Quad inside cabin on Norwegian Pearl

Here is a picture with all 4 beds in place...wall to wall beds plus a bunk. You have to decide if you will be comfortable. The second picture is the same type of cabin with an alternate layout...the trundle has been placed across the cabin, allowing for some foot room between all the beds....this is not standard, but can be done by your cabin steward if you want (take a copy of the picture with you to show him/her).

We did the Pearl with three adults and a 12 year old. It was tight so we didn't stay in the cabin all that often. Once all beds are in place there is no way to move around the cabin. I won't do an inside on NCL again with 4, 3 people though wouldn't be as bad.

  • 2 years later...

We had an inside room on the Star for 14 days during a Panama Canal cruise. It had the trundle bed as shown in the picture and the drop down. Our dd is only three and I didn't trust her in the overhead so we used the trundle. However, it slides out from under the bed and then pops up to the height you see. We left it lower and it gave her a bed that seemed separate from ours. It also made the room look a little less "wall to wall" beds. Still, it's an inside room and there's no doubt it's small, but if you stay organized and don't spend a lot of time in there, it works. If it was teenagers or four adults it would be harder (but still doable) but since your kids are so small, it will be fine.

I would recommend bringing an over the door shoe organizer and extra hooks for the walls. I used the command strip hooks to add extra hanging space. It's hard to dry anything in an inside room and with four swimsuits and cover ups/t-shirts, you need more than the few hooks that are in the room. The shoe organizer is good for little shoes, hairpieces, sunglasses, etc. All of those little things for little people can create a huge mess if not "contained."

Have a great time! We'll be on the Pearl for 10 days in March and it will be in an inside room.
