can I transfer my future cruise deposit/on board credits from Princess to Carnival?

We are unable to find a Princess sailing that fits our schedule for May 2013 etc...so we are going on Carnival instead (Liberty 05/13/13).

 

We have 2 future cruise deposits/on board credits on Princess...can we transfer that to Carnival...now that they are part of the same parent company?

 

We haven't yet booked the Carnival cruise...but getting ready to. If anyone knows the scoop...please share!

I don't believe you can. Even though they are same company , they each have different levels and you can't combine them together. Also when is your cruise we are on the Liberty May 18 2013.

No, they are really 2 separate cruiselines.

 

You will be able to book Carnival as a Past Guest because of sailing on Princess.

They are owned by the same parent company but nothing is intertwined. The only benefit you get is as one other poster stated ... you can get past guest rates with Carnival since you have sailed on Princess.
