Aloves and Beverage Package

If we wind up renting an Alcove for the day, does anyone (1) if we can order drink through our Alcove Attendant, and (2) if we have the premium beverage package, would these be covered or would they be considered room service.

 

Not a huge deal as the Sunset Bar is just around the corner, but I was just curious.

I've never tried it, but logically, if the Alcove attendant would normally bring you drinks then you should be able to use the drinks package, like you would with any other server in any other public area of the ship.

I see you are traveling in January - it would be great if you let us the know what you find out. On some older literature, I read that the Alcoves featured "food & beverage packages" which made it sound that it was a separate charge; but, that may have come out before the beverage packages. For me, renting an Alcove would be much more favorable if they did honor the beverage package.

I've never rented an Alcove, but I'm fairly certain that the Alcove attendant would provide the drinks, or have a bar waiter serve you, as you've purchased the beverage package. I cannot see it being an issue. Hopefully, another Cruise Critic member will confirm.

I think they'd be so thrilled that someone actually rented an Alove that they'd do anything you wanted to make you happy!
