Bucky3 Posted June 3, 2005 #5 Share Posted June 3, 2005 We made reservations at a Holiday Inn just a few miles from the pier but I can't remember the exact name. We ended up canceling and leaving our car at our daughter's home, but as I remember the price was reasonable and they provided shuttle service to the pier. Just call Holiday Inn and ask a few questions to verify that they offer parking. There is a Holiday Inn right across from the pier but they do not offer parking and the names are similar like "Holiday Inn Bayside or Bayfront" or something like that. Be sure you choose the right one! Hope this helps. Enjoy your cruise!
phroggie Posted June 3, 2005 #6 Share Posted June 3, 2005 Where in So Cal? The above mentioned Holiday Inn is also in walking distance of the train station (as is the pier). Can't walk? It's also a short cab ride. Depending on where you're coming from, you might be able to ditch the car. Contrary to popular belief, a Californian can survive without a car for a few days. phroggie Posted June 3, 2005 #10 Share Posted June 3, 2005 A little berg called Hemet, ever hear of us? Cathy Was there once for work back in 83. Guess the train wouldn't do you much good out in Riverside County. (LAC is a different story.)
