PLEASE HELP - Deck plan question on Breeze

Good morning. I am booking my son and future daughter in law a cruise for the honeymoon. They want to go on the Carnival Breeze. I read your review on Cruise Critic. They want a balcony cabin on the Empress level. The cabins we are looking at are 7376 - 7389, however on the deck plans on line there is an open area outside these cabins. I checked the other levels below and above and the same open area is there. I called Carnival and they don't know what the area is either. I don't know if it's a storage area or an open balcony area. There are only a few cabins left on port side in this area, so I really want to book this soon for them. I do wish Carnival could have helped me. It's more that than likely one of the ship's service areas. It is walled off so you really don't see what is in there

How did the cabin selection work out? Was it quiet around it?
