Taking alcohol on board - Glory in Port Canaveral

We think the rules vary by port, not necessarily by ship. We thought we could carry on two bottles of wine each, but when our carryons were xrayed, the woman got very excited, and said it was limited to one bottle per cabin. Fortunately, we had our car at the port so we could put the extra bottles there. We did put a ton of alcohol in our checked bags (locked with those little plastic deals) and all of that made it on just fine. Used plastic bottles (the originals) and cans of beer (as well as soda, bottles of water) and all was fine. We still ordered drinks on deck and in the bars - they still got plenty of money from us!

I think the "rules" are fleetwide and how they are enforced depends on the person you're dealing with at the time.
