Caribbean - rough or smooth?

We are sailing to the Caribbean in 3 weeks. We went to the doctor today to get something for sea sickness (I have suffered from it in the past two times, don't wish a 3rd). We got the patch, some anti vert (sp) and were recommended to get seabands if we didn't want to take meds.

You might try a patch before you go to make sure the patch doesn't make you sick.

I put a patch behind my ear a few days before cruising to counter Atlantic waves. The Caribbean is more calm.

here is a link to a map of the currents no guarantees about the weather but where the currents meet you are more likely to have issues. I have not sailed the Caribbean for a while but I always had 2 bad days. Ginger helped bonine if I took it before, the patch left me dopy, but it has been a while. I am going on a TA this fall so will be bringing bonine and probably a patch.

I do wish you could still get the patch ingredient scopolamine in pill form.
