IAH taxi to Galveston

Hello!

 

We are cruising out of Galveston and I have been trying to research some options from houston to the port, there are so many! Just wondering if anyone has just taken a taxi from a hotel in houston or IAH?

 

I know there are a million threads about different shuttles/limo services also, but if anyone has one that they were very happy with I'd love to hear it, they all seem sort of hit or miss. There will be 2 of us.

Yellow Cab's web site quotes "Zone 8" ( Houston Space Center) at $105.50 + $2.50 airport fee. It's @ 45 miles from IAH.

Add another 31 miles from there to the Galveston port.

Give them a call for a quote from IAH.
