When does excursion desk open?

I understand I need to select/get assigned to my HMC cabana once I'm on board. I'd love to head right up to the Lido for food and fun; will I need to wait in a long line at the shore excursion desk right away? Does anyone know when it opens?

 

On my only cruise so far, there was always such a long line there and I was so smug about the fact that I booked all my excursions before we boarded!

On the Fascination the Excursion desk opened at 11am on embarkation day.

I was able to go to the excursion desk right away after boarding...no line. My family headed up to Lido and I went to the desk to confirm my HMC cabana number.

About 12-12:30.

 

Don't know if it's true, but I've read that you can go to the Purser's Desk and get your cabana.

If excursion desk not open, go to Guest Services and purchased there.
